Abby McDonald is a novelist and screenwriter from Sussex, England. After graduating from the University of Oxford, she signed her first book deal aged twenty-two, and has published over thirty novels under a variety of names, including the cult YA thriller ‘I’ll Never Tell’ (Simon & Schuster) and ’The Oxford Inheritance’ (William Morrow) . Writing as Melody Grace, she is a self-publishing romance phenomenon: hitting the USA Today Bestseller list twelve times, and selling over two million books world-wide.
She lives in Los Angeles, where she has most recently written on the first two seasons of the hit Netflix/Shondaland show, BRIDGERTON. Her feature ‘Jingle Bell Heist’ is in development with Ace Entertainment, and featured on the 2022 Black List.
